Meet your messy mama!

Hi - I'm Elizabeth, my husband's name is Rico and together we have two beautiful daughters, Avery and Micah. We are a young family out here just winging it. The "it" being marriage, parenthood, life, etc... you get the point! My prayer for this blog is that is blesses you and gives you desperately needed hope in a world that's rapidly headed into a "hot mess express" state. Life is hard enough alone so why don't we just do it together? We all desire to know others and be known. We want to know that what we are walking through, feeling, struggling with, or battling is normal, and that we are not doing it alone. So I am here to do it with you! I don't have to understand to show compassion. I don't have to have gone through it to hold your hand and say, "God has you no matter what". Life can be messy but it's worth living and I'm excited to have you along for the ride.

Meet the Fam:

Rico and I dated, got engaged, and married within 7 months of knowing each other! Some say it was quick but we say and serve the Author of time therefore we are not subjected to time or any timelines this world says we should stay within. We shortly welcomed our first daughter, Avery, 9 months after our wedding. Avery is now almost 2 years old and is as spunky as ever! When asked to describe her the first word that comes to mind is compassionate. She truly has a beautiful heart and her dad and I are praying hard and looking forward to seeing how the Lord uses her. Then there's Micah, she joined our family right after our second wedding anniversary and Micah and Avery are night and day different. I like to called Micah, bold. She demands to be heard and won't let herself go unnoticed. She is 4 1/2 months old and is such a joy. These girls are our every "why" and reason our hearts beat. Truly we are so humbled that God chose us for them.
